The Smart Buildings Compass is dedicated to ideas, concepts and smart building technologies that help older people and people with disabilities to lead independent lives worth living. This is not only the wish of many people, but also has a very serious background due to the shortage of skilled workers and money in many countries: the established care and support concepts are currently failing and leaving a large void.
The aim of this medium is to improve the visibility of new ideas and concepts that support end consumers and their relatives as well as care staff, particularly in outpatient care. The aim is to create a supportive, liveable environment.
