Data protection

Effective date September 1, 2023

Why a privacy policy?
We see ourselves as a hub, as an intermediary between the solutions of companies and customers: End consumers ask for energy-efficient solutions, for instance, and companies have the answers to their needs. But that also means we need data from you to help ensure that providers and customers can actually find each other.

Customized offers ensure that customers receive only the information that is relevant and useful to you. And which will help you to make the right decisions in these challenging times. In addition, we support companies in becoming visible on the market with their solutions – for customers, but also for potential business partners.

One point is clear: We only use your data within the legal framework and take the protection of your personal data very seriously. The General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act provide the legal framework, to which we conform strictly.

Regulations apply to us, which guarantee the maximum care in handling your information. Please note that you are not required to submit any data to the SMART BUILDINGS COMPASS. However, certain orders (such as the delivery of our newsletter) can only be carried out if you provide us with your data.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at anja@sbc.co.at.
