The home emergency call is a portable or stationary emergency call system that alerts help in an emergency at the touch of a button or automatically.

A home emergency call is an emergency call system that requests help quickly and easily in an emergency. It often consists of a portable emergency call button, which is worn as a bracelet or necklace, and a base station. This is connected to an emergency call center, relatives or a concierge, for example. In an emergency, the person concerned can make contact immediately at the touch of a button to initiate the necessary measures.

Advantages for older people

Header SBC English
  1. Quick help in an emergency: Whether in the event of a fall, sudden health problems or an accident at home, the home emergency call enables emergency services or relatives to be alerted immediately.

  2. More security in everyday life: The home emergency call offers a feeling of security and protection, especially for senior citizens living alone. They are not left to their own devices in critical situations.

  3. Promoting independence: With the certainty of receiving support in an emergency, older people can live longer in their familiar surroundings and maintain their independence.

  4. Simple operation: The emergency call button is easily accessible and only requires a single press. Even people with limited mobility or vision can use it without any problems.

  5. Customization: Home emergency call systems can often be adapted to personal needs. For example, with additional functions such as fall detection, medication reminders or GPS tracking for when you are out and about.

  6. Reassurance for relatives: The home emergency call also relieves family members, as they know that professional help is quickly available in an emergency.

Overall, the home emergency call helps to improve the quality of life and safety of older people.
