Dieser Beitrag ist auch verfügbar auf: Deutsch

An emergency bracelet is a portable safety device that enables older people to call for help quickly in an emergency. It usually contains an emergency button that establishes a connection to an emergency call center or individually stored contact persons at the touch of a button. Modern models have GPS positioning, fall detection and automatic alarms.

Advantages for older people:

  1. Rapid assistance in an emergency: assistance is requested immediately at the touch of a button, whether in the event of a fall, sudden illness or other emergencies.
  2. Increased safety in everyday life: Older people feel safer because they have access to help at all times – at home and on the move.
  3. Automatic fall detection: Some models detect falls automatically and automatically make an emergency call, even if the person can no longer react.
  4. GPS positioning for targeted assistance: With mobile emergency bracelets, the location can be transmitted to relatives or rescue services to enable rapid assistance.
  5. Discreet and comfortable to use: The wristband is lightweight, unobtrusive and easy to wear – without complicated operation.
  6. Relief for relatives: Family and caregivers can rest easy knowing that support will be provided immediately in an emergency.

An emergency call bracelet gives older people more security and independence so that they can enjoy their everyday lives with a better sense of security.
